Caught by the sea cap

This design was inspired by a decorative tile of a mermaid that I discovered years ago at the entrance of a tiny house on my favorite island, Tinos.
I remember being completely mesmerized by her because she looked different from every other mermaid I had seen before.
Instead of a classic tail, she had an actual fish hanging from her waist.
There was something so strange, playful, and unforgettable about her. I loved her instantly.
This year, I decided I finally had to turn that memory into something you could carry with you all summer long — and what better than a hat.
